Module Two: 07/02/22 Zoom Session: "Big Questions and Little Wonders"

After receiving our feedback for the previous Module and having our first zoom session of Module 2, I wanted to quickly reflect on improvements I can make on last term and my first thoughts on Module 2 and what it entails.

One of my main aims for this Module is to be more consistent with my blog posts, and utilise them in my studies more. I would like to use them as a platform to discuss with my fellow students, especially in this Module as an area to to develop my "little wonders".

I would also like to manage my time differently this Module. Last term I chose to dedicate solid blocks of time to my study, however I think I compartmentalised my study too much doing it in this way, when realistically my study is ingrained in my professional practice, so having it be a part of my daily practice I think will help me understand my curiosities and better develop my proposal inquiry.

I found myself getting slightly overwhelmed during this first zoom session, however as I was watching the recording not the live session I could pause and rewind. I think in future it may help me to re-watch the records even if I do make it to the live zoom sessions as it was helpful to pick out different parts of the  information our supervisors and students offer.

I am excited for this next Module and to begin mapping my little wonders and discuss these with my tutor, and share them on my blog.

  1. It is great that you are able to reflect on the previous module and implement changes going forward. One of the things I like most about the course is how closely linked it is with our day to day practice so this makes perfect sense to me. I too felt overwhelmed when initially reading the handbook for this module but the zoom session really cleared up the requirements and how I would go about achieving them. I have blogged about this and my initial thoughts for my "Little Wonders".
